CATEGORY ‘A’ – GENERAL DUTY

1.) SUPERINTENDENT CADRE:

Post: Assistant Superintendent of Customs Grade II – Consol 08
Entry Qualification:
Candidates must possess a Bachelors Degree with at least Second Class Lower Division from a recognized University.

2.) INSPECTOR CADRE

Post: Inspector of Customs – Consol 07
Entry Qualification:-
Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least lower credit from a recognized Polytechnic.

(ii) Assistant Inspector of Customs – Consol 06

Entry Qualifications:-
National Diploma (ND) with at least lower credit from a recognized Polytechnic
National Certificate of Education (NCE),

3.) Assistant cadre

You have to have a minimum of 5 credits in your Senior Secondary Certificate Examination. The compulsory subjects are English and Mathematics.

You can also provide your General Certificate of Education. Same conditions apply (5 subjects), 2 sittings is the maximum.

If you would like to obtain the position of an assistant at a lower level, it is enough to have credits in four subjects. Of course, you may keep this information in mind, it can be useful in future.
